Insert the anchor, sleeve first, into a pre-drilled hole in the concrete. Hit the back of the anchor with a hammer or mallet until the hardware sits firmly in the hole. Determine the type of tool you need to turn the attachment head at the top of red head concrete anchors. Use a wrench for anchor nuts, or a groove or screwdriver star screwdriver.

Attach the appropriate tool for the fastening head, making it fit properly to prevent the anchor head from stripping.
