Ideal Outdoor Concrete Resurfacing
Outdoor concrete resurfacing is a relatively inexpensive durable surface material, making it ideal for outdoor applications such as patios, pool decks, driveways and sidewalks, as well as interior surfaces such as floors, walls and counters. However, while it resists wear fairly well, it can begin to show its age over time with chipping, discoloration and stains. As a result, they work very well on resurfacing irregular or worn concrete surfaces.
Self-leveling overlays allow for a perfectly smooth surface, but you can choose to engrave them with different patterns and designs for a more decorative look. Choose from several outdoor concrete resurfacing options to find the one that best fits your application and tastes. A stamped overlay allows for the resurfacing of a concrete surface with a thin layer of cement, usually between ¼- and ¾-inch thick.
Outdoor concrete resurfacing is easier to install than traditional stamped concrete. But has a similar appearance so that the surface can be printed with a variety of patterns that mimic the appearance of tile, rock, slate, wood, brick and other natural materials. Install a buffered liner using a gauge rake and add textured texture with skins or rug stamping. You can use it on both floors and walls.
