What Type of Paint Should Choose When Painting Indoor Concrete Floors
When speak paint of concrete floors, most people think of epoxy paint. It is very durable and together with polyurethane, epoxy paint is the most widely used form of floor paint in many companies. The disadvantage of the epoxy painting indoor concrete floors is that it uses the diluent epoxy in the curing process. It is very harmful to health. But for private use, you can buy water-based epoxy paint from the color dealer or in the timber that does not contain the same toxic fumes as the professional epoxy paint used on industrial floors.
Polyurethane has in recent years almost completely replaced the epoxy paint. Partly because it does not use a thinner for the curing process and partly because you can create very nice patterns and apply a much larger color spectrum. And quartz crystals can be applied to the surface, which makes the floor more non-slip.

But it is very expensive, as it requires professional professionals trained in the application process. A good alternative is good oil-based floor paint with high gloss (20 or 30). It is not nearly as durable as epoxy and polyurethane. But can easily cope with the load from traffic in e.g. hallway or utility room in the house and can also be used to freshen up tile and wood floors.
