Rachel Pollak

Rachel is a Contributing Writer to The American Moderate.

She is a progressive Democrat who believes in reaching across the aisle to foster constructive conversation and encourage inclusive dialogue. She grew up in Ithaca, New York, and traded one liberal college-town for another when she moved to Amherst, MA to attend the University of Massachusetts Amherst Commonwealth Honors College, where she received a B.A. in Communications and a Bachelors Degree with Individual Concentration in Public Relations and Media Strategy. After graduating last May, Rachel worked as a field organizer for Hillary Clinton's campaign in Pennsylvania. Rachel hopes to move to DC to gain experience on Capital Hill, and is hopes to go back to school in the near future for a Masters Degree in Public Policy and Administration. Inspired by Hillary Clinton's candidacy, Rachel plans to pursue a career in politics, civil rights and social justice. Right now, she is eager to continue the conversation through the American Moderate.
