Sonjay Singh is a founding member of The American Moderate, and its current chief executive officer.
Since first entering the political arena as a preteen campus coordinator for Sestak for Congress, Mr. Singh has furthered his policy interests through various avenues. After spending his college years staffing various congressional campaigns in Pennsylvania’s 7th congressional district, Sonjay co-founded Progow, an enterprise software startup focused on increasing the efficiency of, and reducing the latent bias in, the hiring process. Through his time as the operations and client success lead of the company, Progow raised over $2M in funding, built an experienced, effective team, and won contracts with numerous F500 companies. In addition to his work at The American Moderate, Sonjay currently serves as a consultant and adviser, assisting companies of all sizes in achieving their web, media, and diversity goals.
Mr. Singh graduated from Trinity College in 2015 with a BA in political science, and as the sole recipient of the John F. Boyer Award for Excellence in Journalism. He currently lives in Philadelphia, where he is enrolled at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.
